Epic 1200 Pro Elliptical
Target Toning™
Target your trouble spots with these special programs designed to work specific areas of your body like glutes, quads, hamstrings, upper-body and more. Just press the muscle group you want to focus on and the elliptical will automatically control the resistance and the incline for you.
CoolAire™ Workout Fan
To help you work out longer and more comfortably, this elliptical has a workout fan built right into the console.
Workout Programs
This elliptical comes with 16 different Personal Trainer workouts that automatically adjust the resistance of the elliptical to focus on aerobic, weight loss and performance goals. It also comes with 2 Create & Save Workouts that allow you to create your own workouts and save them.
Heart Rate Monitor
Make the most out of every workout by monitoring your heart rate with these sensors that are built into the handlebars to ensure you are in the right training zone for your goals.
Console Display
Perfectly clear and easy to read, the ClearView™ display has a large viewing angle so no matter how tall or short you are, you can always keep track of your workout progress. It displays your incline, RPM, distance, resistance, pulse and calories burned.
Power Incline
When you change the incline of an elliptical, it changes the shape of the elliptical stride, which alters the muscle groups your workout focuses on. As a result, the Power Incline™ Ramp allows you to work every muscle in your legs and glutes for better results.

The ProForm Epic EL 1200 elliptical trainer has one very unique feature that makes this model worth considering. It is the power incline ramp. From what I understand, ProForm leases this patented design from Precor. In fact, Precor has a solid lock on the design. There are a couple of other companies that offer a variation of the power incline, but they do not compare to the Precor version. For those that are not familiar with Precor, they sell commercial grade treadmills and ellipticals for the home and commercial environments. Their power incline ellipticals start at $3,500 - that is in comparison to the ProForm Epic Pro 1200 that usually sells for around $1,000.

For under $1000 you get a well built, stable feeling elliptical with a wide 18" stride, power incline, high 350 lb user weight capacity and some cool extras like the Quick Target Toning system and personal trainer workout programs. While it's not a commercial quality elliptical, it's one of the best values at this price point.
