"The Proform Crosswalk 500 is a good machine for working both the upper and lower-body. The feature that makes this machine different form the other models I have looked at is the upper-body arm poles. These poles have resistance so that while I’m walking I can tone and us the muscles in my arms, shoulders and chest. It is also good for more stability while working out. This machine also has the Interactive Audio Crosstrainer. The interactive fitness coach will increase results through hearing and seeing the strength-training exercises. This makes the workout much more motivating."

The Proform Crosswalk 500 is an improvement on older Crosswalk models. It has a higher motor power, larger belt, better warranty and more workouts. As an economy treadmill it's a decent value. The main strength of this treadmill is of course the ability to train your upper body with the upper body arm bars. You can optimize your workout time and build strength training into your workout. Keep in mind that the Crosswalk 500 is still an economy treadmill and is probably not suited for runners or frequent users. Overall, however this is the strongest, most stable Crosswalk model with the most advanced workout options.

It's easy to use, really straight forward on the controls. Feels strong and solid, but also very comfortable. All in all a great machine for the price.
